Due South on DVD

A question that often comes up on the Due South forum is which DVD sets available on the market offer the best options and best image quality. I thought I'd share a few links if you are looking for the series on DVD yourself.

One very affordable set is this one produced by Echo Bridge Home Entertainment:

The image quality is rather poor, but if you are not fussy about this, it might be your best bet. English is the only language available here.

The second option, which offers good image quality and both English and French language tracks plus subtitles is this collection:

Season 1

Season 2

Season 3

Season 4

The screen caps found on this wiki have been made using the latter and the Season 4 set offers a special feature, that of Paul Gross' commentary on the Call of the Wild finale episodes.

Hope it helps!

Season 2 is Complete!

Thanks to River Driver, all Season 2 episodes that originally aired between January 5, 1996 and May 31, 1996 have a complete and accurate synopsis on this wiki! Thanks a bunch, man!
A recent survey conducted among the Due South Facebook group members has revealed that Season 2 is a fan favourite and I have to concur! Check it out:
Season 2
Now, we would like to call out to all Ray Kowalski fans out there. We need writers for Season 3 and 4. If you are interested, please contribute a synopsis for your favourite episode. About 5 paragraphs should suffice. Many characters still need a profile too, so feel free to step in! Thank you kindly!

Happy Holidays from the Due South Wiki!

I would like to take a moment to wish this wiki's users and contributors a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. A special thank you to our founder Terran Rich and to River Driver (aka Shadow2Serenity) who is working real hard to add fine episode synopses to the site. He has remained anonymous for now, but I would still like to thank him kindly for his valuable contribution.
And now a word from Constable Benton Fraser:
"Christmas is more than just a religious holiday. It is a time that has come to have meaning for people of many different faiths...or lack of them. My own Christmases I remember with a great fondness and a certain sense of horror... We always had arctic tern instead of Christmas turkey or see a buck-torn bush instead of an evergreen...search-and-rescue flares instead of Christmas lights. But I've learned to forgive all of that. Most of all, Christmas is about forgiveness. Merry Christmas, everybody."
